Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce
Very scarce work. A collection of eighteen coloured plates to show the Swiss scenery around the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Co. Head Office and Factory at Cham. With an original Milkmaid branded advertisement to the rear of each plate. Dating 1893 to 1896 approximately. With an introductory note from the British Medical Journal regarding condensed milk and the accuracy of of the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company's claims that their products are made from pure cow's milk with no additions other than cane sugar. These claims are found to the accurate.
Condition
In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. Hinges slightly strained but firm. Front endpaper is loose. Pages are bright and clean with light scattered spotting.
