With eighteen folding leaves, among the views depicted are the Toad Rock, Queens Grove and Bishop's Down Grove Spa Hydropathic Sanatorium. These regional panorama albums of views were hugely popular during the Victorian period, with this volume dated c1890 via similar works from the publisher. Publisher's advertisement to rear pastedown.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with shelf wear to the extremities and the odd mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound, though loosening to rear pastedown. Pages are very bright and clean. Bookseller's label to rear pastedown.
