Description

Decorative Binding, Illustrated

Illustrated throughout with numerous plates and vignettes. Loosely inserted is a page from Cassell's illustrated history of England titled 'Major Sprague and the Indians.' This particular volume is concerned with the Native Americans/the indigenous people of America. This work discusses their culture, life and the different dwelling locations of certain tribes. Cassell published several dictionaires and encyclopedias.

Condition

In original pictorial gilt stamped binding. Externally, very smart with minor shelfwear to the head and tail of spine and to edges. Internally, firmly bound. pages are generally bright with slight age toning to edges and the odd spot throughout.
