Browne was a humour writer generally considered to be America's first stand-up comedian.
Illustrated with a frontispiece, a vignette title page, and one plate.
Undated, dated c1884 from Jisc from a copy held at the University of York Libraries.
Condition
In a full tree calf binding. Externally, smart. A touch of rubbing to the spine and extremities. Very small amount of lifting to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some spots.
