Original Source

A unique item, which contains writing in red and black. The volume contains written tables and sentences on Arabic grammar. A small note to the verso of the front endpaper states 'Two well known grammatical treatises - both together'. The majority of the work has been written neatly within ruled lines, but on occasion contains further notations and glosses.

A more recent owner's inscription to the front pastedown, 'D L Cumming'.

Undated, dated from the binding.

Condition

In paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart. Rubbing to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright. Occasional light spots and handling marks to pages. A large wormhole to the majority of the work, surprisingly avoiding obscuring entire words.
