Description

Illustrated, Leather Binding

A text featuring excerpts from well-known poets and including sections on such things as musings in a wood and Musings on the sea shore. Featuring numerous illustrations by Noel HUmphreys, Harrison Weir, Wimperis, Prichett, Miss Edwards and other eminent artists. There is also a copperplate inscription to the front endpaper reading: "Mary Albery from her affectionate husband 1. Jan. 1868".

Condition

In a decorative morocco binding. Externally, generally smart. Some light wear to extremities and shelf wear, with some marks to boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with foxing to first and last few pages and a few scattered spots.
