A collection of nursery rhymes, including: Little Dame Crump, Childhood's Delight, Hush-A-Bye Baby, and Tottie's Nursery Rhymes. Laura Belinda Charlotte Jewry (married name Laura Valentine; 1814-1899), was a prolific English author primarily known for writing children's literature. She wrote under the pen names Mrs. S. Valentine and Aunt Louisa.
Condition
In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally smart, though a little bumped to the boards and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally clean, with the odd spot and handling mark. A couple of the paper guards have small closed tears. Colour plates are generally in lovely condition with just the occasional handling mark.
