'New Gleanings from Gladstone' is an entertaining political satire poking fun at William Ewart Gladstone.

Gladstone was a prominent Liberal politician during the Victorian era, holding the title of Prime Minister across four terms from 1868 to 1894.

Illustrated throughout.

Undated, dated c1874 from dates mentioned in the text.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, generally smart, with a little wear to the backstrip and loss of paper to the joints. Light marks to the wraps. Rear wrap is a little torn to the backstrip, may detach with further handling. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just a few light spots.
