    Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    With numerous full plate and vignette illustrations throughout, this publication from the Religious Tract Society draws together accounts of the manners, customs and rites of Eastern Nations present in out of print publications from the Society, and supplementing these with illustrations of scriptural scenes.

    With the school prize bookplate of St. Mary's, Kilburn, to the front pastedown, awarding this work to William White on 31st May, 1878.

    With an eight page publisher's catalogue to the rear of the work.

    This edition can be dated circa 1872 via Copac.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original decorative cloth binding. Bumping to spine head and tail and board perimeters. Rubbing to cloth at front and rear joints. School prize bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
