    Description

    Decorative Binding, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    Dated from previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. 

    Containing a variety of poems by famous English authors including Longfellow, Moore, Wordsworth, Shakespeare, Cowper, and many more. Poems are accompanied by lovely engravings from drawings by Keeley Halswelle, Hugh Cameron, and John M'Whirter among others.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's full decorative cloth binding with gilt tooling to spine and boards, gilt to edges. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, minor bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities, back strip darkened, minor rubbing to cloth to front board. Previous ownership inscription to front free endpaper dated 1869. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
