This edition contains all three parts ('The Bastille;' 'The Constitution;' 'The Guillotine') in two volumes, dated from Jisc. Following the course of the French Revolution from 1789 to the height of the Reign of Terror until 1759.

Robert M'Millan's ex libris bookplates to front pastedowns dated 1866.

Condition

In the original publisher's uniform full cloth bindings. Externally smart with minor shelf wear, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, boards lightly marked, back strips gently faded. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean.
