Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

A panoramic work containing a selection of twenty-four illustrated views of Paris, scarcely found in colour.

Plates present include 'Le Nouveau Louvre', 'Le Pantheon', 'St. Cloud' and 'Versaille', among a number of further colour lithographs depicting the most recognisable views of the city.

These lithographs were printed by A. Godard, and published by Paris based print publishers Maison Martinet.

This edition dated c1860 via WorldCat.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail and board extremities, with rubbing and marks to front board. Internally, panoramic binding as issued. Plates generally clean and bright, with the odd mark.
