The second edition of this work. A very scarce work. In the original Italian. An interesting work studying the small bronzes to be found in the National Museum of Naples. Illustrated with thirteen colour plates. Collated, complete. Illustrated by Carlo Ceci, an Italian engraver, and a historian of costume and theatre. Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the University of Oxford Libraries.
Condition
In a half morocco binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with rubbing to the extremities, resulting in some loss of leather and paper. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, with a small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine. Small crack to the head and tail of the joints. Light rubbing to the boards. Hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with just the odd light spot and odd light handling mark.
