By Cuthbert W. Johnson, a barrister and agricultural writer who took part in the agitation which led to the passing of the 1848 Public Health Act.
Undated, dated c1845 from Jisc based off the date of the publication of the first edition, which was 1845.
Twenty-four pages of adverts to the rear.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with some light rubbing and marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the spine and extremities. Spine is a little faded. Cloth to the rear board is a little creased. Prior owner's ink inscription to the rear paste down. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age toned and clean with a couple of light spots. Prior owner's ink date to the tail of the title page.
