This is the unauthorised fourth being the sixth edition overall of English Bards, and Scotch Reviewers: A Satire.
Lord Byron was an English poet and leading figure within the Romantic movement.
The verse was first published anonymously in 1809 and was written in response to the criticism that The Edinburgh Review had given his first published volume of poetry Hours of Idleness.
Condition
In full cloth binding. Externally, worn. The boards are faded and marked . The front hinges is weak and the front free endpaper is torn to the top corner. There is previous owner inscription to the title page. Internally, generally firmly bound with some pages lossening. Pages are generally bright and clean with the odd scattered spot throughout.
