Illustrated, Leather Binding
A photo album with eleven plates by Louis Lafitte depicting scenes from André Cardinal Destouches's operas tipped in, along with a portrait of the French composer himself to the front of the album. Undated. Dated from one dated plate.
Condition
In a quarter morocco binding over cloth boards. Externally, generally smart. Lightly rubbed to the boards, with a little rubbing to the joints and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages and the plates are generally bright and clean with some light spotting.
