    Description

    Folding Maps, Leather Binding, Uncommon

    Presenting a compelling topographical sketch of the counties of Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk, detailing their roads, rivers, agriculture, topographical works and a description of each.

    Containing one folding map bound to each volume.

    Belonged to Joseph Rix (1803-1878), a doctor local to St Neots.

    Undated; dated from copies on Jisc.

    Three volumes in one.

    Uncommonly found in this combination.

    Condition

    Rebacked on cloth preserving the original leather spine and boards. Externally generally smart, with slight rubbing to the boards and spine resulting in a touch of loss to the leather, in particular to the head and tail of the spine. Ownership bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
