Scarce work. French language. Reviewing the monuments and sculptures of France, including: statue of Philippe IV, statue of Little King John, statue of Charles d'Alencon, and statue of Mary of Spain. Written by Alexandre Lenoir, a French archaeologist. Self-taught, he devoted himself to saving France's historic monuments, sculptures and tombs during the French Revolution.

Condition

In the original green paper binding. Externally, a trifle rubbed. Chipping to the boards with curling at the edges and loss to the spine. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with light scattered spotting.
