A smart and scarce set providing an impressive overview of the Greek theatre, and its principal contributors.
Condition
In full calf bindings. Discolouration and rubbing to back strips, lacking a spine label to volume VII. Head of front joint of volume II and V starting, head of front joint and tail of rear joint of volume III and IV starting, and front joint of volume VII starting, with boards all holding firm. Fading to tail of volume VII front board. Inscription to front pastedown of volume III. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned to perimeters, with instances of spotting, most concentrated to first and last few leaves of each volume. Light marks to tail of first few leaves of volume VII.
