"Containing several very extraordinary, amorous, and entertaining adventures." Lacking title age and possibly frontispiece. With bookplate of the Earl of Guilford, Wroxton Abby, to front pastedown - believed to be Frederick North, 2nd Earl of Guilford, who was Prime Minister of Great Britain from 1770 to 1782.
Condition
In a full calf binding. Externally, worn. Some minor loss to the tail of the spine. Front board held by cords only. Rear joint tender but still reasonably firm. Internally, generally firmly bound with just then front free endpaper working loose. pages are generally bright and clean with a few handling marks and the occasional spot only.
