Early printing of The Clicking of Cuthbert by P. G. Wodehouse in original publisher's green cloth binding.
With twelve previous titles listed to the verso of the title page indicating a later printing according to Mcilvaine A27a. Printed at the Athenaeum Printing Works.
Dated because the last printing listed is Ukridge, which was first published 1924.
Includes ten short stories with golfing themes including A Woman is Only a Woman, Ordeal by Golf and The Heel of Achilles.
Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was an English author and humourist of the twentieth century.
Prior owner's undated ink inscription to the front pastedown. No dust wrapper present.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The hinges are starting but firm. Prior owner's undated ink inscription to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with some spotting throughout.
