This is a first edition of the work, in smart cloth binding with a decorative morse code strip to the front board. In original silver dust wrapper with decorative endpapers.

Len Deighton is a British author known for his novels on espionage and military history. He has written a number of works on the Cold War, including this one and The Ipcress File, which has since been adapted into a popular film.

This particular novel is the fourth to feature the unnamed secret agent working for the British intelligence agency during the Cold War. This work follows The Ipcress File, Horse Under Water and Funeral in Berlin. As with the previous novels, Billion Dollar Brain has an intricate plot with many false leads.

Condition

In original publisher's cloth binding with the price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with minor shelf wear to the extremities and the odd mark to boards. Light offsetting the endpapers. Dust wrapper very smart, with light chipping and the odd mark. Small clips to each corner flap of dust wrapper, not affecting the price label. Tape to the rear of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound, with bright, clean pages.
