Very scarce work.
An insightful collection of thoughts on society, politics and the economy surrounding the vast influence of Second World War. The author explores the two great emotional conflicts within European civilisation, one being between religion and science, and the other between individualism and collectivism.
Written by British philosopher and science-fiction author, William Olaf Stapledon.
Condition
Bound in the publisher's paperback binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very good, with light edge wear and some spotting to wraps. Front hinge is strained, lifting from textblock a little. Dust wrapper is very smart, with light chipping to the extremities, rubbing to the joints and flyleaves and sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages.
