A very scarce work. The first cheap edition of this work. This work was written intending to assist the user of implements and machinery that are used in various farm processes. The author looks at the work of the plough, harrows, rollers, manure distributors, seed-sowing machines, the horse as a motor, heat engines, tractors, barn machinery, sheep-shearers, and more. Illustrated with numerous illustrations throughout. Written by J. R. Bond, who was the agricultural organiser and executive officer to the Derbyshire County Council. With a forward by John Russell. Russell was a soil chemist and agricultural scientist, who was the director of the Rothamsted Experimental Station from 1913 to 1943. Collated, complete.

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Light marks to the boards and spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
