Full of bright colours and dark ideas, this captivating work of Scarfe embodies the stylistic design and outlook that brought the artist his prominence. Scarfe is also famed for his collaborations with Pink Floyd and his role as production designer on the 1997 'Hercules' film. First edition, with dustwrapper. Artist's signature to the front free end paper. A work of colour illustrations, collated complete. Dissected with Scarfe's savage wit, the Seven Deadly Sins are perfectly personified in this rampant ride through the mind of a master in his field.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart, with only very minor shelfwear to the head and tail of the spine. The dustwrapper has handling marks to the covers, some shelfwear to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, with some age-toning, and tear to the head of the spine and rear fold. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
