A very scarce work. This work looks at the monuments found in the churches in Stoak, Backford, and Thornton-le-Moors, all of which are villages in the county of Cheshire. With a folding plate, and nine plates. Written by J. Paul Rylands and F. C. Beazley. Rylands was a genealogist and topographer, who also published 'The Visitation of Cheshire in the Year 1580', 'Cheshire and Lancashire Funeral Certificates', 'The Visitation of the County of Dorset, Taken in the Year 1623', and more.
