Illustrated with 18 plates, collated complete. Augustus Pugin was an architect of the 19th century, who contributed greatly to the design of buildings across the city of London. Pugin designed the interior of the Palace of Westminster and Elizabeth Tower. A celebration of Gothic architecture with a particular focus on abbeys, castles, monasteries and mansions. Illustrated with historical and descriptive accounts by Edward James Willson, also an architect.
