Containing records of an array of manuscripts ranging from the twelfth to the seventeenth century, with countries of origin divided between England, France, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands. The manuscripts in this work have been divided into religious and secular books, with the former further separated into the following sections: Bibles, Breviaries, Horae and Missals. With sixty five pages of plates, one of which is folding with a coloured frontispiece plate. With a protective dustwrapper.
Condition
In the publisher's original hardcover binding with stiff card boards. Externally excellent, with minor shelfwear to extremities. Slight chipping to head and tail of spine, with the odd mark. Slight offsetting to endpapers. Protective dustwrapper, generally smart with slight chipping to extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages slightly age toned to extremities but very bright and clean throughout.
