Volume three, Egypt under the Emenemhats and Hyksos (1902), has twenty eight illustrations.
Volume four, Egypt and Her Asiatic Empire (1902), has twenty four illustrations.
Volume five, Egypt under Rameses The Great (1902), has thirty illustrations.
Volume six, Egypt under the Priest-Kings, Tanites, and Nubians (1902), has three illustrations.
Volume seven, Egypt under the Saites, Persians and Ptolemies (1902), has twenty three illustrations.
Volume eight, Egypt under the Ptolemies and Cleopatra VII (1902), has thirty one illustrations.
All are richly illustrated throughout the text.
All are first edition copies, apart from volume one which is a second impression copy.
A wonderful series exploring the history of Egypt.
Condition
All are in the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light bumping to the head of the spines. Front hinge starting to volume i and some pages remain unopened to vol v. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages.
