What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed

The first edition of this work in the concertina form. Previously, 'The Garden of Earthly Delights' was issued in a larger format, which was a limited edition.

On her website Trant notes that she produced this smaller 'theatrical booklet' version of the work for the Artists Book Fair at the Phoenix Gallery in Brighton.

The poem for this work was written for Trant by Judith Kazantzis.

From the library of Allen and Beryl Freer. The Freers were avid art collectors, and acquired quite the selection over the twentieth century, of works mostly bought from the artists. Allen organised many exhibitions of artists he admired and published several works on art.

A charming work.

Condition
