Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

Dick Francis (1920-2010) was a British crime writer and former jockey whose works mostly handle crime in the horse-racing world. Over forty of his novels were international bestsellers, having been published in twenty-two languages; he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 1999. A number of his works, which include 'Dead Cert', 'Bloodsport', 'Whip Hand' and 'High Stakes', have been adapted to film, radio and television.

This work follows the barrister, Geoffrey Mason, as he finds himself at the centre of a web of threat and intimidation.

This is a first edition.
