    'Meltdown' is a work of detective fiction by Martin Baker. It follows the life of Samuel Spendlove, who gives up his career as an academic in order to work undercover for the owner of a massive media empire. 

    Martin Baker is a writer who contributes regularly to the Daily Telegraph as well as the Observer. He was the first investment editor of the 'International Herald Tribune' in Paris from 1990-1997.

    In the publisher's original cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with no noticeable faults. Dust wrapper is in a similarly excellent condition, with no edgewear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Author's ink signature to recto of title page.
