A detailed catalogue showcasing antiquities relating to voyager James Cook for sale at Hordern House in Australia. Hordern House is an antiquities dealer located in Australia specialising in historical items and books relating to exploration, travel, and voyages.

This catalogue was printed in 2008 and comprised of items relating to renowned explorer James Cook from the Robert and Mary Anne Parks Collection. Containing chapters on Cook's beginnings in Newfoundland, his first voyage from 1768 to 1771 with Sir Joseph Banks, his second voyage from 1772 to 1775 with Omai, and his third voyage from 1776 to 1780, and his death. 

This work is beautifully illustrated with numerous in-text illustrations, most of which are in colour. Also including a folding plate. Collated and complete. 

Containing a loosely inserted price list.

Enclosed in the original near fine dust wrapper.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, lovely, with just a touch of shelf wear. Original unclipped dust wrapper is lovely, with just some light shelf wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
