An Important Work, First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, With Dustwrapper

The first edition, with the original unclipped dustwrapper. Signed by Hari Kunzru to the title page of the novel. Loosely inserted is a ticket to an event at Selfridges, London, where this book was signed. The event is titled '23 1/2 Days of Bollywood: An Evening with Ruchir Joshi, Hari Kunzru, Anita Nair, Syama Perera and William Sutcliffe'. A fine copy of this novel. 'The Impresionist' earned Kunzru the Betty Trask Award and the Somerset Maugham Award. It concerns the protagonist, Pran Nath, who is the child of a one-time affair between an English father and Indian mother. His life and search for a permanent identity is followed throughout the course of the novel.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding and original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, in an excellent condition with little to no shelfwear. Dustwrapper is also in an excellent condition with just some light shelfwear to the head and tail of spine. Author's signature to the title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
