Limited Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Slipcase

One of only 300 copies printed. In the original slipcase, which holds both volumes. The second volume is the facsimile of Naughton's original manuscript, which is how this account was upon Norton's death. The publication of Naughton's work was not until 1641. This work is the source for Elizabeth I's rebuke to Robert Dudley, 1st Earl of Leicester. Edited by Professor Roy E Schreiber. A fine copy of this noted work on Elizabeth I.

Condition

In the original quarter leatherette binding, with cloth covered boards. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. Dustwrapper is also in excellent condition with minor shelfwear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
