    Married for fifty-six years, Clementine and Winston Churchill's marriage saw two World Wars and Churchill's two stints as Prime Minister; it ended with his death in 1965. 

    Signed by Mary Soames to the title page. Soames was the daughter of Winston Churchill and an author by profession; she married Christopher Soames, a Conservative politician, with whom she had five children.

    Illustrated with photographs throughout. 

    This is the revised and updated edition, with the work first appearing in 1979.

    Lacking the original dust wrapper.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just a touch of minor wear. Signed by the author to the title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
