A limited edition work, limited to three-hundred and fifty copies. Signed by the author to the edition page. In the original unclipped dustwrapper, printed with the William Morris 'Willow' wallpaper print. One of the Nine Elms Press series on the Arts and Craft movement. This work is an interesting critical essay on Walter Crane and his art. Walter Crane was known for being an artist and book illustrator. He often illustrated children's books, including editions of 'The Frog Prince', 'Baby's Own Aesop', and 'The First of May: A Fairy Masque'. He was an admirer of the Pre-Raphaelites, Italian Renaissance, and Japanese art. Written by David E. Gerard.

In the original publisher's paper wraps, held in the original unclipped patterned dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Some minor edgewear to the wraps and dustwrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
