Description

Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

The third edition of this work, extensively revised.

Bound in the original faux black leather. With the publisher's original unclipped, unpriced dust wrapper.

This is designed to be a companion volume to 'Gloucestershire II: The Vale and Forest of Dean', both part of the 'Buildings of England' series created by Sir Nikolaus Pevsner.

This volume celebrates the architecture of the Cotswold villages, exploring stone-built manor houses, cottages, and medieval churches.

Longer entries describe market towns such as Cirencester, Fairford and Chipping Campden.

With in-text plans, maps and illustrations, as well as thirty-two double-sided pages of monochrome plates. Collated, complete.

Condition

Bound in the original faux black leather. With the publisher's original unclipped, unpriced dust wrapper. Externally, lovely. Dust wrapper is excellent, with minor signs of edge wear. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
