'Seven Pillars of Wisdom' is the biography of T. E. Lawrence, and his best known work, having been adapted into the film 'Lawrence of Arabia' in 1962. Colonel Thomas Edward Lawrence (1888-1935) was a British army officer, diplomat and archaeologist renowned for the role he played during the Arab Revolt (1916-1918). The scope of his work and his writings inspired the nickname 'Lawrence of Arabia'.
This is a companion work to 'Seven Pillars', comprising an introduction and notes to the work.
