Founded in 1893 in a large part by Sir John Knox Laughton and Admiral Sir Cyprian Bridge, it has to this day published over 160 volumes. In the original cloth, with a gilt motif to the front boards and gilt titles to the spines. Externally excellent, with very little wear. The Rodney Papers has a barcode sticker to the rear board. With contemporary ink inscriptions to the front free endpapers. Internally, clean and bright, and firmly bound
