What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

The first edition, first impression copy of this work by popular author Colin Dexter. Inspector Morse discovers the body of a woman, Rachel, but unfortunately only very few of the neighbours prove to be useful. Thankfully, the discovery of a seventeenth century love poem and a photograph of Rachel with a grey-haired man gives a lead to Morse. However, morse faces a greater, far more personal crisis.

With unclipped dustwrapper.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, with titles stamped in gilt to spine. Externally, lovely. Dustwrapper is unclipped and excellent, with minor shelfwear only and a small crease to front flyleaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
