The complete collection of Winnie-the-Pooh stories and poems, from Winnie-the-Pooh (1926) and The House at Pooh Corner (1928) to When We Were Very Young (1924) and Now We Are Six (1927). Featuring all the favourite characters including Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Kanga and Roo, based upon the real nursery toys of Milne's son, Christopher Robin. Written by Alan Alexander Milne, an English writer best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh, as well as for children's poetry. Illustrated by Ernest Howard Shepard, an English artist and book illustrator known especially for illustrations of the anthropomorphic animal and soft toy characters in The Wind in the Willows and Winnie-the-Pooh.
Condition
In the original green cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is very smart with minor wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
