A very scarce first edition of the work. In the publisher's original morocco with the original unclipped dust wrapper. With a foreword by HRH Prince Edward. With monochrome vignettes and full page illustrations and 6 full colour illustrations over 2 colour plates. Collated complete. This work is written by Roger Morgan and is a detailed guide to tennis and it's development. The work takes a look at the history of the sport, including early tennis courts and tennis during the Tudor times.

Condition

In the publisher's original morocco with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. The wrap is excellent with only very light bumping and some very light sunning to the spine. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
