A detailed and comprehensive guide to the location of pre-1900 maps of the British Isles preserved in the United Kingdom and Ireland from the Royal Historical Society. Edited by Helen Margaret Wallis, a British historian and the Map Curator at the British Museum, as well as the British Library, and Anita McConnell, a British writer on the history of science and a curator at the Science Museum, London.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot to the endpapers.
