A limited edition work, limited to two-hundred copies, of which this is numbered thirty-three. Pinrted on Zerkall mould-,ade paper, on a Western proof press by Harry Crook.
One original wood-engraving by Eric Ravilious.
This engraving was originally used for a 1936 edition of Thomas Hennell's 'Poems', originally published by Oxford University Press.
Ravilious was a noted engraver who was known for his work with various private presses, who died in action in World War Two.
The print is initialled by Anne Ullman, the daughter of Eric Ravilious.
Condition
In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, fine. Internally, unbound, as issued. Pages are bright and clean.
