This excellent first edition copy details the thrilling story of a British secret agent turned luxury hotel night manager, and the infiltrative operations he partakes in.

Considered one of the greatest novelists of the postwar era, John le Carre (or David John Moore Cornwell) is best known for his gripping espionage novels.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent with just minor shelfwear only. Dust wrapper in near fine condition with some edgewear, a little heavier to head and tail of spine. A couple of very light marks to the wraps. Internally firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean throughout.
