With chapters visiting the wild haunts of peregrine falcons, otters, badgers, foxes, hare, deer, wild trout, salmon, and other rarer creatures. Written by Colin McKelvie, an English independent publisher and writer for wildlife and sporting presses. Illustrated by Rodger McPhail, a world-famous British painter, best known for his detailed wildlife paintings of sporting fowl, fish, and dogs.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is very smart with minor wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Author and illustrator's ink inscriptions to the front endpaper and half-title.
