Originally published in 1947 by Williams and Norgate, this is an incredibly charming collection of over one hundred and seventy traditional rhymes for children collected and edited by Iona and Peter Opie.

Condition

In the publisher's original paper covered boards, and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Dust wrapper in excellent condition, but lightly sunned to back strip. Internally, firmly bound. Signed to the half title. Pages clean and bright.
