This work was written by W. Robinson and expresses his passion for garden design. The work provides an overview of the British garden and elements of garden design. The work also expresses the authors strong opinions against the clipping of tree's in order to align with architecture, and believes strongly in allowing nature to be free to shine. Throughout the work Robinson provides his opinion of other author's writings on garden designs, often disagreeing with their opinions.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with fading to the spine, the odd slight mark to the boards and bumping and light rubbing to the extremities. Offsetting and light spotting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with the odd spot only.
