First edition, first impression. Illustrated throughout in colour. A collection of archaeological, naturalist, botanical, and scientific art by Helen Beatrix Heelis, usually known as Beatrix Potter, an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist. Written and collected by Eileen Jay, Mary Noble, and Anne Stevenson Hobbs.

Condition

In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original price-clipped dust wrapper is very smart with minor wear to the extremities and the odd small mark to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
