First edition, first impression. Illustrated throughout in colour. A collection of archaeological, naturalist, botanical, and scientific art by Helen Beatrix Heelis, usually known as Beatrix Potter, an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist. Held at the Armitt, a museum, gallery, and library full of interesting and unusual objects telling the history and heritage of Ambleside. Written and collected by Eileen Jay, Mary Noble, and Anne Stevenson Hobbs.
Condition
In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original price-clipped dust wrapper is very smart with minor wear to the extremities and the odd small mark to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
